To preserve existing forest areas, current models of cocoa production in C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire need to be transformed.<\/p>\n<p>Transparence Cacao \u2013 ISLA aims to convince farmers to see the natural environment, including trees and the forest, as a potential source of revenue. It also seeks to help farmers become agricultural entrepreneurs who invest in their farms by producing more from the land that they have.
