At TRANSPARENCE CACAO, the need for full traceability of the supply chain and the fight against deforestation are long-standing convictions. These principles have been guiding our actions for several years, convinced that the sustainability of the cocoa sector depends on concrete and collective commitment on the ground.
This is why we deeply regret the recent one-year postponement of the EUDR. The fight against deforestation is a crucial imperative and can no longer be delayed. It is essential to protect ecosystems, guarantee transparency in the supply chain, and secure the future of farmers.
TRANSPARENCE CACAO did not wait for the implementation of the EUDR to act. The work of geolocating all plots initiated several years ago and is 100% completed. We have also verified the absence of deforestation in all our countries of origin, and we will keep this commitment regardless of the EUDR postponement.
We will continue our efforts to fight deforestation and invite you to join us, promoting responsible and sustainable practices, demonstrating that performance and sustainability can go hand in hand.
